I only use the finest components in everything I do, these include Defiance Machine custom actions, Bat actions, RPA, Barnard, Surgeon, Stolle, Borden, some of which are photographed below and for the more budget based custom build I use the standard Remington 700 long and short actions.

Barrels from Krieger, Bartlein, Trueflite, Lothar Walther, Border Barrels. This is totally down to customers own preference.
Triggers: my own personal preference in triggers is without doubt the Jewel trigger but I also use the less expensive Timneys which are excellent. |

Stocks: McMillan, Sheehan, Accuracy international, Robertson, Bell & Carlson and over the past year I've tried as much as possible to keep it inside the country by using PSE composites from Ireland.
I've also become very much in love with the work of a highly skilled young man from Waterford. Enda Walsh from Gunstocks Ireland came to me just over a year ago to show me a few examples of his work. At the time of his phone call, I really didn’t have very much interest as I thought at that time that I had pretty much seen it all, however not wanting to appear too ignorant I invited him to bring up his samples with the full intention of saying thanks, that’s great, I'll call you if I have work for you. |

Enda arrived with four or five of what I could only describe as WOW! I'll never forget that day. My initial thoughts were, no way could he have made these himself.
I formed a very strong relationship with Enda over the following months and to say that we’ve become friends would be a very big understatement. His attention to detail is almost unbelievable and makes even the worlds best look like amateurs. I wouldn’t say this if it wasn't true. Many of his pieces are on display at my workshop for viewing and can be ordered directly from me. |

In the case where one would choose to use one of his stocks on a complete custom build I can have Enda here with me while we discuss your requirements and take your measurements to give you the complete tailor made rifle made to fit nobody else but you and your own personal size and shape. A hand impression can also be taken and replicated into the stock which gives a glove like fit to the shooter which aids seriously in precision shooting and giving an almost prostetic like comfort fit all round. |
